Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization tools, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, operational support, and identifying opportunities to automate workflows and optimize processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

A. Does (Tasks & Responsibilities):

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Create simple yet effective dashboards and reports to support projects and operational needs.
  • Perform data analysis, mining, and complex ad hoc queries; provide data extracts as needed.
  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries on large datasets.
  • Serve as the primary analyst for urgent data and reporting requests from leadership.
  • Act as Level 1/Level 2 Analyst for urgent operational data requirements.
  • Provide timely updates, resolve issues, and maintain documentation on the team portal.
  • Support the delivery team with report and data distribution via email, SFTP, and other channels.
  • Ensure compliance with data security practices across deployed pipelines.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement workflows; maintain uptime for automated tasks.
  • Attend escalated support calls outside standard business hours when required.
  • Standardize and optimize queries to improve performance and efficiency.

  • Support technical teams in updating and maintaining data source systems.

  • Dashboards, reports, data extracts, and ad hoc analytics for business stakeholders.
  • Timely analytics support in line with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Up-to-date support documentation and workflow processes.
  • Optimized queries and improved reporting performance.
  • Standardized processes and workflows following best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Google BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or DaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop or Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with MySQL.
  • Programming experience in Python or Scala.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: Up to Php50,000.00 per month
