SUMMARY

The company is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our IT team The Data Analyst is an integral part of report development and continuous analysis. A successful candidate is self-motivated, proactive and has significant experience using MySQL, Excel, and Microsoft Report Builder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures to extract data
  • Develop complex reports using MySQL, Microsoft Office, and other utilities or languages as necessary
  • Perform ad hoc and structured data analysis
  • Generate quality reports.
  • Proactively identify data issues and flag them to the respective stakeholders.
  • Plan the development process and adhere to defined timelines.
  • Share the activity status report with immediate managers.
  • Document the development procedure at every stage of the project.
  • Assist staff with queries, statistical analyses, reports, and technical difficulties related to data retrieval and reporting.
  • Design and write custom applications needed to ensure the database meets requirements for management and reporting.
  • Work closely with accounting management and staff
  • Recognize recurring issues and analyzes causes to reach a solution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information management, or relevant field preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), SQL, Microsoft SQL Report Builder
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

*Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule, on-site in BGC Taguig
