About the role

As a Data Analyst at Ascendion, you will play a crucial role in unlocking valuable insights from data to drive strategic decision-making for the company. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila and offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Gathering, analysing and interpreting complex data from multiple sources
  2. Developing and maintaining customised dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights
  3. Identifying trends, patterns and anomalies within data sets to inform business strategy
  4. Collaborating cross-functionally with teams to understand their data needs and requirements
  5. Recommending data-driven solutions to optimise business performance
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques
  7. Supporting the implementation of new data processes and systems

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  2. 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role
  3. Strong proficiency in data mining, manipulation, and analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  5. Keen attention to detail and the ability to work with large and complex data sets
  6. Effective communication and presentation skills to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations
  7. Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and techniques
