Group Marketing Assistant

A) Position Objective:

To contribute to the overall goal of the department especially on group sales growth, and to provide general sales assistance.

B) Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Growth: to help and assist in achieving the department's annual target.

  2. Customer Engagement: to handle client's queries and requests, and to assist in handling complaints. Maintains good relationship with the existing clients.

  3. Sales Admin: Facilitates flow of documents between HO and branches/clients, and attends to the needs and requirements of the branches and clients.

  4. Prepares group proposals and sales reports.

  5. Attends to client calls and visits.

  6. Weekly client visits are expected as part of regular duties.

  7. Attends to other concerns of the department as needed.

C) Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate of any 4 year business course preferably Marketing or Management

Work-Related Experience:

o Preferably with insurance background

o Has experience in dealing with customers and clients

o With very good (or excellent) communication skills and can relate well with people

o With driving skills and a valid driver's license

o Open to learnings.

Specific Business Knowledge:

o Computer literate and is well-versed in operating MS Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

o Has the ability to work under pressure and has analytical skills

o Has basic knowledge of business letter writing
