About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP Group Reporting Assistant Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions. This role requires strong expertise in financial consolidation, planning, and reporting, with hands-on experience in SAP S/4, Fiori, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The successful candidate will oversee small-to-mid-size projects, manage a team, and drive best practices in enterprise performance management (EPM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage SAP Group Reporting, including:

  • Master data setup, Data Release & Collection, Net Income rules, Reclassification, Validation, and Currency Translation.

  • Intercompany Eliminations and Consolidation of Investments.
  • Generate consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) via Fiori Reporting and Analysis for Office.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 FTEs; manage end-to-end project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to design, test, and implement solutions.
  • Work with WRICEF objects, interfaces, and enhancements, including test case preparation and execution.
  • Develop SAC planning and analytical models, including advanced formulas, data actions, and SAC stories.
  • Integrate SAC with SAP S/4HANA or SAP BPC systems.
  • Contribute thought leadership through research, methodologies, and knowledge-sharing in EPM.
Qualifications & Skills

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field (CA/ICWA preferred).
  • Practical experience in IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, Group Reporting, SAC Planning, and SAP BW/HANA Studio.

  • Hands-on knowledge of:

  • BPC Planning/Consolidation.

  • US Eliminations and Intercompany Eliminations (ICMR).
  • Advanced SAP BW/4HANA Objects (CDS Views, ADSOs, Composite Providers, DTPs).
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across geographies.
  • Strong project management, mentoring, and coaching abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • SAP Group Reporting Certification.
  • ABAP knowledge for customization.
  • Experience in Cash Flow Statements, Forecasting, and Budgeting in Consolidated Balance Sheets.
  • Ability to customize S/4HANA standard reporting as per business requirements.
