JOB OBJECTIVE

The Dining Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the execution of the SOPs in the dining area through and with the effort of the store team.

KEY RESULTS AREA

  • Ensures that the dining areas are overseen and maintained
  • Consistently oversees the dining floor to ensure that the steps of service are being followed
  • Does table touches to establish a connection with guests
  • Handles guest complaints based on company protocols and ensures that all complaining guests are appeased
  • Does administrative functions related to dining area

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors that the overall ambience of the store meets the company standards
  • Monitors that attendance and performance of all dining staff
  • Strictly implements the Code of Conduct to all dining employees
  • Trains and counsels dining employees
  • Works hand-in-hand with the Kitchen Manager to ensure that all stocks are in good quality and enough for the shift

DIMENSIONS

  • Consequence of Error: Inefficiency may lead to loss of sales or property
  • Responsibility to Lugang Cafe resources including but not limited to:
  • Dining structure, tools and equipment
  • Sales and Cash Assets
  • Product Information and Trade Secrets
  • Raw Materials
  • Human Resources

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education – Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Business-related course
  • Experience – preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar industry of restaurant operations; fresh graduates may be considered
  • Above average communication skills

  • Basic Financial Awareness
  • Advanced Comprehension
  • Basic Negotiation Skills
  • Organizational and inter-personal sensitivity
  • Able to facilitate people into effective action
  • Problem solving – determining root causes/able to recommend decisions or courses of action based on clear and relevant parameters
  • Analytical Skills - Can analyze and breakdown complex situations and come up with rational ways to address the situations with minimal guidance
  • Able to manage personal scheduling/ stress arising from multiple tasks and responsibilities
