About the role
Join Metro Container Corporation as a Production Supervisor on a full-time basis in our Valenzuela City, Metro Manila location. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the efficiency of our manufacturing operations to drive continuous improvements and support the company's growth objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the work of production teams to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality and safety
- Analyse production data and provide recommendations to management on process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production-related issues
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Provide coaching, training and performance feedback to production team members
- Contribute to the development of departmental goals and key performance indicators
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational targets
- Proficient in interpreting production data and generating insightful reports
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with all levels of the organisation
- Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
