As a Production Supervisor at Metro Container Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products
- Supervise and direct a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to address and resolve operational challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Analyse production data and provide reporting to management on key performance metrics
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages team engagement and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in reading and interpreting production schedules, work orders, and technical specifications
- Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Adaptable to changes in production requirements and able to prioritise tasks effectively
