Position Title: Head, Commercial Banking Division – Baguio

Job Summary:

The Division Head oversees and ensures the effective and efficient operations of the unit by planning, directing and implementing marketing strategies to attain the unit's profit and business targets. He/ she also develops and maintains mutually beneficial business relationships with clients by providing services including but not limited to corporate finance, investment banking, cash management, trade services, and structured finance. Lastly, he/she also ensures a balance between good credit and risk management, while ensuring account profitability and customer satisfaction.

Role Exposure:

  • Play a critical role in contributing to Metrobank's objectives of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Coach and mentor Relationship Managers to become the next potential leaders in Commercial Banking
  • Engage with clients from various industries and understand a bank's role in the ins and outs of the clients' businesses

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in account management and credit management in a bank
  • Experienced in leading a team of Account Officers/Relationship Managers
  • Strong background in credit evaluation and financial analysis
  • With strategic thinking ability and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
