Assistant Director for Marketing

The Assistant Director for Marketing is a senior leadership role within ICOMMP and is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of strategic marketing initiatives across the university. This position ensures that enrollment campaigns, institutional promotions, and brand messaging are cohesive, data-informed, and aligned with Ateneo de Davao University's mission, values, and strategic goals.
The Assistant Director will work closely with the Offices of Admissions (Basic and Higher Education), Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and key academic and administrative units to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive student recruitment, enhance the university's visibility, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and lead university-wide marketing strategies that support enrollment, branding, and advancement goals.
• Align messaging across all levels (Basic Ed, Higher Ed, Graduate Programs) and platforms (print, digital, on-ground).
• Coordinate and evaluate the impact of campaigns using analytics and stakeholder feedback.
• Design, coordinate, and manage integrated campaigns for admissions cycles, donor outreach, alumni events, and academic promotions.
• Ensure all promotional efforts adhere to institutional branding standards.
• Supervise the production of marketing materials, content calendars, and performance reports.
• Serve as liaison between ICOMMP and units such as Admissions, Advancement, and Academic Affairs.
• Facilitate training or orientation for department-level marketers or promotional leads to ensure brand consistency.
• Support the creation of content through collaboration with writers, designers, videographers, and digital strategists.
• Conduct and apply market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation strategies to inform promotional efforts.
• Analyze enrollment trends, digital engagement data, and stakeholder feedback to refine marketing strategies.
• Responsible for performing all other duties necessary to accomplish the projects of the iCOMMP Office and as assigned by the iCOMMP Director.
