Job Summary:
The Project Manager/Engineer is responsible for overseeing projects from planning to completion, combining leadership, coordination, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality results. This role manages client expectations, ensures timely and cost-efficient delivery, and guarantees that all engineering and installation requirements meet industry and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project execution: from planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to installation and turnover.
- Review and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and installation teams to align work activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality workmanship, and enforce safety standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, reports, and progress updates.
- Control project costs and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and schedule.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience in construction/signage project management.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in project execution, ideally in signage, fit-out, or construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and be present on-site as required.
