Position : UI/UX Consulting Manager

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the design of intuitive, elegant, and scalable user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
  • Facilitate design discovery workshops to uncover user needs, business goals, and product opportunities.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into actionable design specifications and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, rituals, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.

Strategic Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify product challenges, user pain points, and business opportunities.
  • Run quantitative experiments and conduct qualitative research to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate design rationale and value effectively to non-design audiences.
  • Deliver designs aligned with strategic goals and business objectives of the enterprise.

Operational Excellence

  • Set up and manage design delivery cadences, resource allocation, and production workflows.
  • Reduce product and business risks through design interventions and validation strategies.
  • Ensure continuity in design operations by managing team skillsets, availability, and collaboration.

Product Lifecycle Ownership

  • Define and drive the design strategy across the full digital product lifecycle—from conceptualization to delivery and post-launch support.

  • Oversee design handoffs, validation processes, and last-mile support planning.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • Mentor and lead a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Support onboarding and development of design talent, ensuring alignment with project needs and team goals.

  • Build and maintain a network that drives growth and visibility for the design team within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading UI/UX design for enterprise-level digital products.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive and scalable interface designs across web and mobile platforms.
  • Experience facilitating design discovery workshops and translating business requirements into design deliverables.
  • Expertise in design systems, user research methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to communicate and present design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, design validation, and agile delivery processes.
  • Experience managing design operations, resource planning, and team skill development.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a track record of growing design teams.
