Finance Specialist

Where numbers meet strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Budgets and Conduct Financial Analysis

Maintain oversight of budget allocations and spending patterns, providing analytical insights to support effective financial planning and control.

  • Process and Validate Financial Documents

Review and verify financial submissions to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and timely processing within defined SLAs.

  • Reconcile Budgets and Resolve Discrepancies

Perform regular budget reconciliations, investigate variances, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial inconsistencies.

  • Analyze Budget Variances and Spending Trends

Interpret deviations between planned and actual spending to identify risks, inform decision-making, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare and Deliver Financial Reports

Compile monthly and ad-hoc reports, including program expenditure summaries, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a graduate of BS Accountancy or a related finance/business course
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
  • With 2–3 years of relevant experience in a Finance or Accounting role; however, fresh graduates with strong academic background and internship experience may also be considered
  • Familiarity in Microsoft Word and Excel, including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and other advanced functions
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large datasets
