The IT Team Leader/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations, leading a team of IT staff, ensuring the availability and security of IT systems, and providing technical support across the organization. The role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to guide the team, manage projects, and deliver efficient IT services aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide IT staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of IT support tickets and projects.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.

IT Operations & Support

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues reported by employees or departments.
  • Implement and monitor IT helpdesk procedures and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Systems Administration & Security

  • Manage system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network/server issues.
  • Ensure IT security protocols are followed, including antivirus, firewalls, and access control.

Project & Process Management

  • Lead IT-related projects (e.g., system upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements).
  • Recommend improvements to IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT solutions with business needs.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and system health.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection laws, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, processes, and configurations.

Job Type: Full-time
