Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our on-site facilities. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to identify and address any issues or malfunctions
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan and execute maintenance schedules and projects
  • Monitor and analyse equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and resolve any facilities-related issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our on-site operations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Shift Engineer or in a similar role within the maintenance industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and data analysis tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the maintenance industry
