Job Description:

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for all non-trade items (e.g., office supplies, store fixtures, marketing collaterals, IT equipment, uniforms, services, etc.). The role ensures cost efficiency, timely delivery, compliance with policies, and vendor performance management. He/she takes the lead in the evaluation of vendors and suppliers, negotiation of costs and contracts, and the review product quality of all materials, supplies, equipment, fixtures and services to be purchased and used by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Savings

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that lead to cost reduction without sacrificing quality

Procurement Process Management

  • Ensure efficient PR to PO process, vendor selection, and contract management
  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier performance
  • Negotiate with vendors for goods and services
  • Negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee

Budget Control and Compliance

  • Monitor and ensure all purchases are within approved budgets and compliant with procurement policies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Provide regular procurement reports and data insights to management
  • Work closely with receiving department to ensure proper delivery and receiving of supplies
  • Monitor delinquent arrivals of items with purchase orders.

Team Management and Development

  • Lead, train, and guide the procurement team
