About the role
Xpress is expanding across Mobility, Delivery, and Fintech - and we need a hands-on Talent Acquisition who can manage the full hiring operation while improving the systems behind it.
This role is for someone who's strong operationally, comfortable leading a team, and ready to help scale both corporate and high-volume driver hiring. You'll run a 5–6-person TA team and work closely with the Chief of Staff and department heads to keep the entire recruitment engine moving.
What You'll Do
1) Recruitment Leadership
- Manage end-to-end hiring for Corporate, Operations, and Driver roles.
Lead a TA team split between:
Corporate Recruiters
Driver Recruiters
Set weekly priorities, track pipeline health, and ensure smooth execution.
2) System Building (Operational Level)
- Create and refine recruitment processes, funnels, and SOPs.
- Improve sourcing methods and volume strategies (driver + staff).
- Roll out basic scorecards, interview guides, and hiring discipline.
- Implement and maintain ATS hygiene and reporting.
3) Sourcing & Funnel Execution
- Build targeted sourcing calendars across referrals, BPO groups, job boards, and on-ground channels.
- Support high-volume hiring needs for Taxi, TNVS, and TWG.
- Coordinate with XPDO (training) and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding.
4) Stakeholder Management
- Work with department heads to understand hiring needs and timelines.
- Maintain strict SLAs for candidate updates, interviews, and shortlists.
- Push back when needed to keep hiring aligned with process.
5) Team Coaching & Performance
- Ensure TA Associates hit weekly KPIs.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and quality control.
- Review calls, interviews, and candidate handling.
What Success Looks Like
- Drivers: Consistent weekly onboarding volume hitting agreed targets (not boom-and-bust).
- Corporate roles: Critical positions filled within agreed time-to-fill, with minimal re-hires in the first 6 months.
- Process: Clear, documented TA workflows in place, followed by the whole team (not living in someone's head).
- Discipline: Hiring managers respect and follow the process — scorecards used, SLAs followed, no "shortcut" hires.
- Data: Basic but reliable reporting on pipeline, sources, time-to-fill, and drop-offs is available weekly.
- Team: TA Associates are productive, coached, and not dependent on you for every small decision.
What You Bring
- 4–7+ years recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years leading a team.
- Strong execution mindset - you operate fast and keep things organized.
- Experience in both corporate roles and volume hiring (ideal).
- Able to build and refine recruitment processes without over-engineering.
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Data-aware (not a data analyst) - you know what to measure and why.
