About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our rigging and heavy-lift operations. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling crews and equipment, coordinating job assignments, and ensuring efficient communication between operations, drivers, rigging teams, and clients.

This role requires excellent coordination skills, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Plan and assign daily dispatch schedules for rigging crews, operators, trucks, and equipment.
  • Coordinate availability of manpower, cranes, trailers, tools, and other resources needed for each project.
  • Monitor job progress and adjust dispatch plans as needed based on operational requirements.

Communication & Monitoring

  • Act as the main point of contact for rigging teams, drivers, and clients regarding job updates and instructions.
  • Communicate work assignments clearly and ensure all teams receive complete job details.
  • Track movement of vehicles, equipment, and crew throughout the day.
  • Provide real-time updates to operations on delays, issues, or urgent changes.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and issue dispatch sheets, job orders, and work instructions.
  • Log all dispatch activities, time in/out, equipment usage, and job status updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew schedules, service logs, and resource allocation.

Operations Support

  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure safety requirements, permits, and jobsite instructions are in place.
  • Assist in verifying readiness of rigs, trucks, and lifting equipment before deployment.
  • Support emergency or last-minute scheduling changes and ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, trucking, rigging, construction, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to relay information clearly and quickly.
  • Familiarity with rigging or heavy-equipment operations is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with dispatch or scheduling systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive decisions.
