Job Title: Transport Operation Coordinator

Location : Batangas (1) , Bulacan (1) , Calamba Laguna (1)

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transport Operation Coordinator to support the daily operations of our transportation department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in dispatching, routing, and tracking shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch and Routing: Coordinate the dispatch of shipments, assigning drivers to loads based on availability, location, and delivery requirements. Utilize routing software to optimize delivery routes and minimize travel time. Monitor shipments in real-time using GPS tracking systems.
  • Load Planning: Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate load planning and efficient utilization of vehicle capacity.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders, providing updates on shipment status and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including dispatch information, delivery confirmations, and any relevant documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, such as traffic delays, driver issues, or unexpected events. Escalate complex issues to the supervisor as needed.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter shipment data into the company's transportation management system (TMS).
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery rates and shipment volume.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in logistics or transportation is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a transportation or logistics environment.
  • Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in data entry and using relevant software applications (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, G- Drive, MS Outlook, TMS)
