Job Description:

The Laboratory Technician will support the operations of the analytical laboratory by assisting in client handling, technical analyses, administrative processing, and general maintenance. The role is critical to ensuring smooth laboratory service delivery and operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of quotations and billing statements for laboratory services. Support laboratory staff in conducting analytical procedures, including:

  • X-ray Diffraction (XRD)
  • X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)
  • Ion Chromatography (IC)
  • Other wet chemistry techniques

Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of laboratory equipment and facilities

Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:Education: Completion of 2-year studies in college OR High School Graduate with relevant vocational/trade course

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

Training: 4 hours of relevant training

Eligibility: None required

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Laboratory Work Environment

Chemical Technician licensure (not required but advantageous)
