About the role

STEP is seeking entry-level Laboratory Analysts (Food Technologists) to join the dynamic team of our client located in Makati City.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing a range of physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses on food samples to assess their compliance with quality and safety standards
  2. Interpreting analytical data and generating detailed reports to inform decision-making
  3. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
  4. Proactively researching and implementing new analytical techniques to enhance testing capabilities

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline
  2. Fresh graduates with license as Professional Food Technologist and Chemical Technician is required for the role.
  3. Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and quality control principles
  4. Proficiency in operating a variety of laboratory equipment and instruments
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
