About the Role

The Associate Manager, Modern Endpoint Engineer is responsible for leading the modernization and optimization of endpoint platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and high-performing device management across the organization. This role requires an innovative mindset to improve endpoint infrastructure while ensuring excellent user experience and adherence to security standards. The position works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT Security, DevOps, and Managed Service Providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and innovation of modern endpoint solutions.
  • Manage and optimize endpoint systems for Windows, iOS, and Android environments.
  • Collaborate with teams to define standards, SLAs/XLAs, and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure management policies.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, software licensing, and managed service performance.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint standards, policies, and documentation.
  • Act as final escalation point for endpoint-related issues and lead resolution of outages.
  • Participate in IT projects, system rollouts, and merger or acquisition activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least
    6 years of experience
    in Endpoint and Desktop Management, including systems design, deployment, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft technologies
    such as
    Windows, Azure AD, Active Directory, SCCM (MECM), and Intune
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    MDM solutions
    (Intune, JAMF, AirWatch, XenMobile).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Microsoft or AWS certifications are an advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience modernizing endpoint services in medium to large enterprises.
  • Exposure to
    mergers and acquisitions
    and global support environments.
  • Familiarity with
    Office 365, GPO, and CPC
    .
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
