About the role

RCG Global Services are seeking a talented Python Developer with DevOps experience to join their team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time, hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work both in the office and remotely, with a night shift schedule. The successful candidate will have the chance to grow their skills and take on increasing responsibilities as part of a collaborative, high-performing technology team.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, developing and implementing scalable, efficient, and reliable Python-based applications and services
  2. Automating infrastructure and deployment processes using DevOps tools and methodologies
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  4. Continuously improving system performance, reliability, and security
  5. Documenting and sharing knowledge to support the development team
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest Python and DevOps trends and technologies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Python developer, with strong programming skills and familiarity with best practices
  2. Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  3. Proficiency in software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms
  4. Knowledge of relational and SQL databases, and experience with cloud computing platforms
  5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
