Tasks and Responsibilities may include:Leading the Accounting & Finance Unit in ensuring correct posting and monitoring of transactions and flow of funds in the business units and among financial institutions including but not limited to banks

Timely monthly submission of accurate profit and loss statements and other significant financial statements that are necessary for the top management to make sound decisions

Managing the monthly close process and ensuring the accuracy of all balance sheet accounts for all entities

Reviewing the balance sheet and income statement for proper accounting treatment and ensuring accounts are reconciled

Overseeing the accounting process for pawnshop operations (including other services such as remittance, foreign currency exchange, travel, personal insurance, EC Pay), jewelry unit, financing unit, and other subsidiaries

Assisting in the coordination and preparation of audited financial statements

Acting as support liaison with the HR unit as well as External Auditors and AccountantsPerforming technical analysis for variance explanations and cash flow trends

Preparing the corporate forecast and budget process for all entities inside the company

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMBA/Master's degree in Business is preferred

Six (6) years of accounting experience and demonstrated experience in leading teams or pioneering projects

Advanced knowledge on Excel spreadsheet

Three (3) years of experience with general ledger and other accounting systems

Knowledge of statutory reporting and tax compliance
