The Claims Officer roleis responsible for promptly and efficiently processing incoming claimscorrespondence and assisting claim administration officers to efficientlymanage claims by reducing claims turnaround times. Claims processing support· Claims email inbox management – moving emailsfrom an inbox into an archiving system, saving emails to electronic databaseCS16, creating tasks in Work Manager, and adding claim file notes into Pure.· Complete monthly file review activities.· Reconciliation of supplier invoices· Creating invoice payments for authorisationto assessors, repairers, and members· Adjusting reserves on motor claims fromincoming emails· Uploading quotes and images to assessors'online portals. Customer service· Maintain excellent staff relationships by providing prompt and efficientadministrative support to the claims process and follow through with promisesmade.· Action all tasks and queries in a timely manner with adherence tocompliance requirements and procedures. Other· Assist other team members within your team and across other teams whenrequired.· Understand and comply with all client's standards as they relate towork health and safety.· Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures as well as all client's corporate policies and procedures as amended from time to time.· Perform other tasks as reasonably requested within the individual'sskills, competence, and ability. RequirementsMust have 1+ year of experience in AU General InsuranceExperience handling both motor and property insurance claims​Experience with any insurance software or tools
