Key responsibilities

  • Security and Safety: Ensure the safety of people and property within a designated area by monitoring and patrolling.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials, including checking IDs and issuing passes.
  • Surveillance: Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment to detect potential security breaches or threats.
  • Incident and Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, such as theft, fire, or accidents. This may involve evacuating the premises, administering basic first aid, or de-escalating tense situations.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Document observations of routine and non-routine activities, and prepare incident reports for any occurrences.
  • Enforcement: Enforce company security and safety rules and report any observed violations.
  • Inspection: Conduct physical inspections of premises and equipment to check for any defects or hazards before and after a shift.
