Best Tools is hiring a Technician for our Panabo, Davao branch.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled technician responsible for maintenance, repair, and preventive servicing of industrial tools, machinery, and related equipment. This role is vital to ensuring efficient store operations, excellent customer service, and a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair industrial tools, power equipment, and machinery.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment longevity.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues effectively.
  • Interpret and apply information from technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Keep accurate and detailed maintenance and service records.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and assist customers with technical concerns.
  • Repair electric and cordless power tools.
  • Service air compressors and water pumps.
  • Maintain engines, generators, inverters, and welding machines.
  • Perform preventive repairs and general upkeep.
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment and repair reports.
  • Previous experience in a service center environment is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant technical experience.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic systems, and industrial machinery.
  • Physically able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and a strong team player.

Additional Requirement:

Willing to attend technical training in Metro Manila.
