Job Overview
As a Content Moderator for this platform, you will review and manage user-generated content, including user profiles and behaviors, image uploads, and 3d assets (such as virtual avatars and worlds) ensuring full alignment with community guidelines and trust and safety standards. You will be part of a high-context, fast-paced moderation environment that supports the platform's growth and fosters a safe, inclusive, and well-governed virtual community. Moderators are expected to apply consistent, policy-based decision-making and bring sharp judgment, cultural sensitivity, and attention to detail to every review.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, flag, and take appropriate action on user-generated content according to the social media platform's moderation policies.
• Monitor user profiles and behaviors, image uploads, and 3d assets (such as virtual avatars and worlds) to ensure compliance with evolving platform guidelines.
• Log decisions accurately and completely, maintaining documentation for audit and training purposes.
• Use sound, independent judgment to evaluate nuanced or edge-case violations.Identify patterns or risks in user behavior and report issues that may impact platform safety.
• Stay up to date on moderation trends, product updates, and community expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessions and calibration reviews to ensure consistency across the team.
• Collaborate with leads, QAs, and peers to maintain a high-quality, high-integrity moderation program.
• Contribute feedback for continuous improvement in moderation processes, tools, and policy coverage.
• Maintain availability for rotating shift schedules within a 7-day coverage model aligned to US Eastern hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education: At least college level or equivalent
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a content moderation, trust & safety, or related support role.
• Skills: Cultural awareness and empathy when working with a diverse global user base.

• Languages: Above average fluency in English

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/College degree
• Experience: Content Moderation experience is a plus

• Work Hours: Willing to be assigned to night shift, amenable to shifting schedules
