About the role

Hospitality Resources Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in our hotel located in Mactan Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, well-maintained and comfortable environment for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the housekeeping team, including scheduling, task assignment and performance management
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel spaces to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Identify and address any issues or deficiencies in the cleanliness or maintenance of hotel spaces
  • Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to housekeeping operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues across the hotel
  • Proficient in the use of housekeeping-related software and technology
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required
