Procurement Staff

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Supplier Management

2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

3. Maintain a database of approved suppliers and update regularly.

4. Purchase Order Processing

5. Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requisitions.

6. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.

7. Inventory Coordination

8. Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels are maintained.

9. Assist in forecasting and planning material requirements.

10. Documentation and Records

11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.

12. Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO standards.

13. Vendor Relationship Management

14. Resolve any issues related to delivery, pricing, or quality.

15. Foster good relationships with suppliers for long-term partnerships.

16. Market Research

17. Stay updated on market trends, pricing changes, and new products/services.

18. Coordination with Other Departments

19. Work closely with Finance, Warehouse, and Requesting Departments to meet procurement needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing is preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of supply chain procedures and sourcing strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
