JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for promoting agency services and for building strong business relationship with clients. He or she is responsible for achieving 100% sales targets by developing new accounts and by employing strategies to grow the business for existing accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Stability

  1. Grows the business by analyzing market trends specific to company's services to identify new business opportunities.
  2. Converts sales leads to prospective clients through cold calling, sending emails, and conducting business presentations.
  3. Achieves 100% sales target on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for new business acquisition and existing accounts.
  4. Compares previous month and current sales performance for assigned brands. Develops plan of actions for the for the following month.
  5. Monitors and conducts follow-ups on collection of payments of clients for completed projects.
  6. Prepares comprehensive Cost Estimates (CE) which includes project scope, deliverables, and budget.
  7. Negotiates contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.

Client Satisfaction

  1. Gathers preliminary information about the client's nature of business, existing products, brands, and services. Identifies key issues and challenges and develops a creative brief that is comms-driven and is aligned with client's business objectives.
  2. Ensures good understanding of the client's brands and proposes recommendations on how to grow these brands through integrated marketing and communication activities.
  3. Prepares and conducts effective integrated marketing and communication pitches, providing solutions based on client's needs and highlighting the agency's services and competitive advantage.
  4. Ensures the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client partners' nature of business, requirements, preferences, and expectations.
  5. Enhances the department and organization's reputation by fulfilling client partners' various requests.
  6. Ensures that client feedback is documented and is being solicited for every accomplished project.
  7. Ensures that all company marketing collaterals needed for business presentations are complete, accurate, and according to the needs of the prospective client.

Process Excellence

  1. Continuously strives to work harmoniously with internal stakeholders i.e., Creatives, Operations, and Business Support departments.
  2. Prepares project management monitoring chart and ensures delivery of project deliverables based on agreed timelines.
  3. Submits Client Information Sheet to the Finance department which includes client profile, terms, billing process and accreditation requirements.

Motivation and Learning

  1. Trainable and open to constructive criticism.
  2. Attends trainings to enhance client presentation, communication, and sales skills. Puts premium to enhancing knowledge in customer insighting and strategy.

Reporting

  1. Prepares account servicing reports which includes Call Report and Post Activity Evaluation Report.

BASIC RELATIONSHIP

He or she reports to the Department Head (Accounts). 

ACCOUNTABILITY

1.  Confidential handling and safekeeping of proprietary information of the Company and employees

2.  Preserves the company's interest in all aspect of its operation

3.  Office equipment – laptop

WORKING CONDITION

Conducts field work during sales calls, events, and product activation. Reports to the head office when not in field work.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION :

Graduate of Advertising, Communication Arts, Business Management, Marketing

Management and allied courses.

EXPERIENCE :  Must have gained at two (2) to six (6) years of solid account management work

experience gained from reputable advertising agencies.

Must be a part of a team that implemented at least five (5) successful brands 

campaigns that resulted in significant sales volume.

OTHERS :    Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be presentable and must have a pleasing personality.

Must be creative and innovative in coming up with solutions to client issues.

Must be in good in the preparation of cost estimates, sales reporting, and

conducting pre and post project evaluations.

Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Highly optimistic and must have grit,

Must have good interpersonal skills and a good team player.

Must be organized and have good time management skills.
