RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounts / Finance Manager is responsible for: .
- Will oversee the entire accounting and finance functions of the company.
- Overseeing all daily accounting operations and authorization of all accounting related vouchers.
- Overseeing fund management of the entire operations and ensure the funding request to corridors is given daily.
- Periodic monitoring of fund position of the branches and ensuring the branch operates within the insurance limit.
- Ensure the fund position reports are given to the top management on time.
- Work in close coordination with accounting managers of different corridors.
- Ensure all books of accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Attending to all local bank reconciliation works and providing confirmation monthly.
- To work in close coordination with the back-office support team for reconciliation related works.
- Attending to P&L and related MIS reports and ensure submission of reports on due date.
- Periodic Monitoring of all costs and to appraise the management of any deviation in costs vs Budgeted figures.
- Ensure the accounting procedures adopted are in line with the SOP.
- Ensuring the internal accounting environment is compliant with Philippine laws Interaction with branches to sort out account related issues.
- Verification and Authorization of all petty cash related expenses including the Branch expenses.
- Prepare cost center reports, revenue, and expenses per branch.
- Attending to the preparation, consolidation and review of financial reports, and annual budgeting processes and plans for the entity; Checking of all statutory payments for correctness and ensure the payments are remitted on time.
- Ensure all statutory returns to BIR, SSS and other agencies are filed on time.
- Ensure the organization is Compliance with all BIR regulatory requirements.
- Proper coordination with the Local Banks for availment of any Credit facility or for any operation related matters.
- Maintenance and updating of all fixed asset registers.
- Work in close coordination with FX Dealer/ Treasury Department Authorization of all FX dealing related Vouchers Ensure the Revaluation rates are updated in the system on daily basis and checking the correctness of the rates inputted.
- Updating of FX rate in the system in the absence of FX dealer.
- Oversee the timely update of the payroll database to ensure the accuracy of payroll data and information; Verification of payroll records and reports in coordination with HR to ensure the payroll is processed timely, accurately and accounted in line with the entity's policy and procedures.
- Ensure all taxes and statutory payments from salaries are being withheld and paid as per the mandated requirements.
- Oversee, review and release of all payroll activities such as employee termination benefits (final settlements, pension payments, claims etc.);.
- Constant review of SOP related to Accounting to ensure the use of most effective method and provide recommendations for improvement in services, systems, and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end financial audit, providing consolidated statutory accounts and audit files where required by external auditors;
- Attending to any functions which is given by GM in exigencies.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3+ year's previous experience in financial services .
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
With Accounting or Finance background, or equivalent business experience is required for this position.
LANGUAGE
Fluent English is required for this role.
