Finance & Admin Manager, Pharmaceutical

Our client is a European pharmaceutical company with a well-established presence in the Philippines. They are looking for a Finance & Admin Manager to be based in Manila. This pivotal role involves overseeing a team of 10 professionals and reporting directly to the Regional Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track budgets, coordinate monthly accounting closings, and prepare reports for Headquarters (HQ).
- Analyze financial statements, propose corrective actions, and provide qualitative commentary to HQ.
- Set customer credit limits, manage risk, and support collections in collaboration with the Business Manager.
- Oversee treasury management, banking relations, and ensure compliance with Group financial policies.
- Collaborate with local accounting and tax consultants to ensure compliance with local regulations and Group policies.
- Manage local insurances, fleet, supplier relations, business expenses, and IT communication per Group policies.
- Oversee personnel administration, payroll, and HR reporting to HQ, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Lead HR functions including recruitment, training, workplace risk prevention, and team development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications are a plus).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with proven expertise in a senior management role.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Proficient in both English and Filipino, with strong communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software (SAP is a plus).
