We are seeking a Startup Plan Implementation Analyst to join our Ret Ops team at MBPS. In this role, you will manage the onboarding process to deliver value-added benefits and superior service to Third Party Administrators (TPAs), Financial Representatives (FRs), and Plan Sponsors. You will lead the entire implementation process, aiming to establish successful, long-term relationships with John Hancock. Strong relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential, as well as in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and workflows. Effective communication and a proactive approach are key to managing the onboarding process successfully.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Acts as the primary contact for clients during new issue implementations, ensuring client satisfaction by coordinating meetings, maintaining action items, delegating tasks, and tracking project status while addressing any significant issues promptly.

  • Develops and adjusts implementation schedules, ensuring smooth project execution by meeting client expectations, managing resources, and using tools effectively to overcome any challenges.

  • Collaborates with clients and teams to clarify requirements and educate on products and services, while providing solutions and suggestions to enhance plan setup and administration.

  • Conducts initial plan reviews, initiates welcome calls, manages correspondence leading up to enrollment meetings, and ensures payroll updates and service features are communicated effectively.

  • Holds overall responsibility for both relationship management and project execution, ensuring all client needs and expectations are met within the projected timelines.

  • Facilitates effective communication by maintaining action items, following up on tasks, and ensuring all parties understand any changes in project schedules.

  • Ensures accurate documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements, supporting transparency and accountability throughout the project

Required Qualifications: 

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; however, candidates with a high school diploma, senior high, vocational course, or at least one year of college coursework are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with finance, retirement operations, or 401k plans is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in client-facing roles is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently while mentoring others, demonstrating both leadership and self-motivation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with team members and clients.
