What is your mission?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior US Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting. You will collaborate across departments, ensure compliance with GAAP, and maintain accurate records that support business decisions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Assist in month-end close, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Analyze, research, verify, and correct discrepancies while maintaining accurate records
  • Perform daily and monthly analysis, including full-cycle accounts payable and bank reconciliations
  • Review general ledger entries and related system reports as requested
  • Communicate with and support outside vendors on accounting-related matters
  • Work with internal teams such as Sales, Loan Processing, and Servicing to ensure timely and accurate transfer of information
  • Collaborate with colleagues on day-to-day accounting activities, special projects, and process improvements
Who are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a lending or financial services environment (mortgage company or bank)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Excel and prior experience with Microsoft Business Central (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and timeliness across all accounting functions
  • Willingness to work additional hours when required, with regular and punctual attendance
  • Excellent judgment, responsibility, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proactive communicator with a positive attitude, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
