Selorica Shop operates multiple specialty shops in the Philippines—including (coffee pods/capsules), (baby & toddler essentials), and (Mediterranean & Middle Eastern foods and beverages). We're building and scaling our own e-commerce sites and are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Web Developer to join our fast-paced team.

You will build engaging, user-friendly storefronts that directly shape brand experience and drive user engagement and conversion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain e-commerce sites and future brands using WooCommerce.
  • Develop responsive, mobile-first pages (home, product page, cart/checkout, landing pages, blog).
  • Implement product catalogs, collections, search, filters, and promotions; ensure clean URL structure and metadata. Optimize for Organic SEO and AI.
  • Integrate payment gateways, shipping options, analytics (GA4/Tag Manager), and basic marketing tools (newsletter, popups).
  • Optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Build dashboards for expiry date tracking and procurement tracking.
  • Set up tracking for funnels and events; support A/B testing and CRO experiments.
  • Create reusable components, themes, and templates; manage version control (Git).
  • Troubleshoot bugs, maintain uptime, and coordinate releases with marketing/ops.
  • Integrate design/branding Figma files quickly into webstore/s.

What We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate Profile)

  • Experience: 2+ years E-commerce Web Development (Required); 1-year WooCommerce (Required). Sample portfolio of live sites.
  • Platforms/Tech: Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and WordPress/WooCommerce.
  • Quality & Speed: Strong grasp of responsive design, page-speed optimization, and clean, maintainable code.
  • SEO & Analytics: Working knowledge of on-page SEO, GA4, and Tag Manager event tracking.
  • Nice to Have: Basics in PHP or , REST APIs, webhook integrations, and familiarity with Microsoft Environment (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, OneDrive, Excel...)
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, proactive problem-solver, comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Communication: Professional written English.
