Role Description

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and integration tools. In this role, you will lead the technical design and development of projects, ensure adherence to best practices, and manage or mentor development teams. This position requires deep technical expertise across the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and integration with external systems.

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and related client-side technologies.
  • Build and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external applications using standard Salesforce integration patterns (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with peers on source control, code reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Support configuration tasks including page layouts, fields, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and flows.
  • Implement new features, enhancements, and functionality based on client requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure alignment with design patterns and best practices.
  • Perform QA testing and assist with bug fixing and technical troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
  • Proven experience with Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
  • Solid understanding of integration concepts and experience developing across multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).
  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration and setup.
  • Exposure to Salesforce products, such as but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange solutions.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Exposure to AppExchange products and Salesforce ecosystem tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across projects.

Salesforce Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
    (preferred)
  • Any Cloud Consultant Certification (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) or other Salesforce certifications
    (a plus)
