JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Technical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in technical sales, particularly in medium to high voltage products and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying client needs, proposing tailored technical solutions, and supporting project execution from pre-sales to after-sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales or field application engineering, preferably in the medium to high voltage domain
  • Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems (11kV to 69kV or higher)
  • Familiarity with electrical products such as GIS, AIS, MV/LV switchgear, relays, and transformers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and client meetings

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience working with utility companies or industrial clients
  • Knowledge of local electrical regulations and industry standards
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • AutoCAD or similar software knowledge is a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors in the electrical and energy sectors.
  • Technical Sales: Present and promote medium to high voltage products such as transformers, switchgears, protection systems, and related accessories.
  • Solution Design: Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions based on system specifications and project needs.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Support Services: Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for new business.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful delivery and commissioning of solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all offered solutions comply with relevant local and international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
