Supply Chain Planner

JOB SUMMARY

He/She will be responsible for proper execution and managing stock replenishments from multiple suppliers and maintaining adequate inventory levels. He or she is also responsible to ensure availability of products at all times. This position is focused on customer satisfaction and replenishment cycles and works cross-functionally with the Warehouse, Logistics, IMPEX, Sales and CCES Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determines policies and reviews safety stock and inventory levels.
• Regularly reviews and optimizes inventory parameters and levels (re-order pt, safety stock, ABC categorization)
• Places orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters
• Establish and maintain professional working relationship with suppliers and spearhead initiatives to address supplier service level deficiencies
• Monitor and oversee the application, renewal, and processing of FDA product certifications
• Integrates new products, trials and maintenance into production schedules
• Prepares & assists in gap resolution as pre-work to Sales meeting
• Drives the flexible part of short term supply to resolve alerts of real time issues
• Determines & reviews safety stock and inventory settings quarterly
• Ensures that the right safety stock levels are set in the entire network
• Reviews out of stock situations and defines actions to avoid this in the future (respecting the defined service levels per category)
• Partners with Sales to ensure fulfillment, respecting the service level agreements
• Collaborates with Logistics to hand-over the Deployment Plan for Deployment Scheduling
• Utilize data and systems to analyze, monitor and report inventory levels and status
• Monitor and manage short dated (use by date) inventory to ensure stock is rotated timeously to prevent risk of expired stock in any location
• Monitor and report scrap and obsolescence
• Use initiative to recommend changes / improved methods to reach optimum inventory while minimizing inventory costs and exposure
• Knowledge and adherence to all business rules, polices and regulations, processes and operating systems,
• Ensure inventory principles are adhered to for Phase out / Obsolete stock

· Performs task as required by the Management in relation to the job function

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent

· Min of 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning or related functions.

· Knowledge in SAP a plus

· Strong Excel skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI

· Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.

· Experience in SAP a plus

· Good interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to interact with various functions and cultures
