About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pest Control Officer to join our team at City Garden Hotel Makati. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and pest-free environment for our guests and staff. Your work will be crucial in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our hotel is known for.

What you'll be doing

  • Regularly inspect the hotel premises to identify and address any pest-related issues
  • Implement effective pest control measures, including the use of approved chemicals and traps
  • Maintain detailed records of all pest control activities and treatments
  • Collaborate with the facilities and housekeeping teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to pest management
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pest control methods and regulations
  • Educate staff on pest prevention and response protocols
  • Respond promptly to any pest-related complaints or concerns from guests or employees

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pest control technician or officer
  • Technical knowledge of various pest species and effective control methods
  • Familiarity with the use and safe handling of pest control chemicals and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests
