General Overview of the Job:

The Junior Intercompany Accountant supports the intercompany accounting team in daily processing and reconciliation of IC transactions. The role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to develop foundational experience in finance and accounting in a global business environment.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing intercompany entries, invoices, and transactions in the ERP system.

  • Help prepare IC reconciliations and reports.

  • Follow up on missing documentation and liaise with other departments/entities for data collection.

  • Assist in generating IC balance confirmations.

  • Support the month-end closing process with basic journal entries and reporting tasks.

  • Maintain documentation and filing for audit and compliance needs.

  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to understand IC processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualification and Requirements:

  • General Ledger Management: Understanding of general ledger operations and reconciliations.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS16)

  • Excel: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis

  • Experience in a shared services environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, Financial System & Accounting Software: (AS400, D365, Great Plains)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
