Mold Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mold Technician to join our thriving manufacturing team at LMTP Corporation. As a Mold Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality of our products through the proper maintenance and operation of injection molds. This is a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art facility in Calamba City, Laguna.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on injection molds to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Monitor mold temperatures, pressures, and other critical parameters to identify and resolve any issues
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and address mold-related problems in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed records of mold maintenance activities and production data
• Assist in the design and development of new molds or modifications to existing molds
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced mold technicians
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mold Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold design, and maintenance
• Proficient in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
• Good communication and team-working skills to collaborate with the production team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
