Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on corporate, taxation, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with the Corporation Code, SEC regulations, taxation laws, and other relevant legislation.
  • Advise management on risk management, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel for specialized cases or litigation.
  • Oversee legal aspects of financial transactions, corporate structuring, and asset management.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for potential investments, partnerships, and property acquisitions.
  • Review and ensure compliance with financial statements, tax filings, and audit reports.
  • Represent the company before regulatory agencies (SEC, BIR, DTI, LGUs, etc.).
  • Keep abreast of updates in laws, regulations, and accounting standards affecting the business.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed (Certified Public Accountant) CPA and Lawyer in the Philippines
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in corporate law practice and accounting/audit functions, preferably in a group or conglomerate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, tax, and commercial laws.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, tax planning, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Work setup:

  • Hybrid setup with 2 days WFH (work from home)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php120, Php150,000.00 per month
