Food and Beverage Team Leader

The Food and Beverage Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily service operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and leading the service team to meet quality, service, and performance standards. This role supports the Outlet Manager in coordinating staff, maintaining service consistency, and upholding food safety, hygiene, and brand standards while fostering a positive and motivated team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage service operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Lead, motivate, and support service staff to deliver high standards of guest service and professionalism.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, task assignments, and shift briefings to ensure proper coverage and service flow.
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints professionally, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Support training and coaching of new hires and existing staff to maintain service consistency and product knowledge.
  • Assist in monitoring sales performance, upselling initiatives, and achievement of outlet targets.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service and accurate order delivery.
  • Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and maintenance of the outlet before, during, and after service.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and service protocols.
  • Report operational issues, staff concerns, or guest feedback to the Outlet Manager or Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Can start immediately.
