F&B Supervisor responsibilities include:

  • The F&B Supervisor shall read communications logbook and email for any endorsement and recently issued memorandum.
  • Check restaurant's physical set-up, lighting and air-condition. Ensures cleanliness of the outlet at all times.
  • Ensure that all equipments are in good condition. Reports to concerned department for any defect that requires immediate action.
  • Check buffet set-up (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
  • Conduct briefing to all service staff. Gives table assignments.
  • Check number of in house guest who will partake of the breakfast buffet as well as other reservations for the day.
  • Monitor operation in the restaurant. Ensure that staff adheres to set standards of the hotel.
  • Give out guest comment form for any feedback, with target of 10%,based on occupancy rate and actual covers.
  • Ensure proper dissemination of information through the conduct of briefing. (Log in log book and verbal endorsement to F&B Associate).
  • Ensure proper control of staff break so as to maximize total manpower during peak hours.
  • Prepare the outlet for PM snack and dinner operations immediately after lunch.
  • Conduct debriefing to staff if necessary.
