Senior Full-Stack Developer (PHP + .NET) — Leadership RolePosition Overview

We are looking for a 
highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer
 to take 
technical and delivery ownership
 of a large, business-critical platform built in 
PHP/Joomla
, now evolving toward a modern 
.NET-based microservices architecture
.

This role goes beyond standard development work.

You will act as the 
technical anchor of the team
 — ensuring structure, clarity, quality, and alignment across multiple developers while still working deeply in the code yourself.

You must be a 
very strong developer
, an excellent communicator, and someone who naturally steps into leadership when needed. You will coordinate tasks, push for best practices, maintain momentum, and help guide the technical modernization of the system together with international stakeholders.

This role suits someone who thrives in complex environments, takes real ownership, communicates confidently, and enjoys both hands-on coding and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Ownership

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the platform's technical execution.
• Maintain, improve, and modernize legacy PHP/Joomla modules.
• Lead the gradual transition toward
  Laravel /
   
  .NET microservices
  .
• Ensure code quality, structure, and consistent delivery across the team.
• Participate hands-on in backend, frontend, and API development.

PHP / Web Development

• Work extensively with 
  PHP
  , Joomla, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Improve existing modules, optimize performance, and modernize outdated components.
• Implement clean architecture principles where applicable.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and mobile teams.

.NET / Microservices Development

• Develop backend services using 
  C# / .NET
  , REST APIs, and modern modular patterns.
• Contribute to the design and planning of the new microservices structure.
• Support phased migration from monolithic to distributed architecture.

Leadership & Coordination

• Coordinate tasks between developers and keep work aligned and on track.
• Ensure proper Git workflows, code reviews, and structured delivery.
• Provide direction, clarity, and technical guidance when needed.
• Communicate proactively with product owners and international stakeholders.
• Highlight risks early and propose solutions.

Requirements
Must-Have Technical Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in 
  PHP
   and web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS).
• Strong experience in 
  .NET (C#, APIs, backend services)
  .
• Experience with 
  modular or microservice-style architectures
  .
• Strong Git experience (branching, PR reviews, conflict resolution).
• Comfortable working in large, existing codebases with legacy components.
• Experience using 
  Jira
   for task management.

Must-Have Non-Technical Skills

• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership presence — able to keep the team aligned and structured.
• Ability to take ownership and make informed technical decisions.
