We are looking for someone who can do reporting of multiple cashier transactions. You will be working at the main store branch with head office and reporting directly to the finance department.

This job entails:

  • Sales Cashiering: handling daily money and credit card transactions, sales invoicing, returns, job orders, and monitoring of accounts for collection
  • Reporting: you will need to create daily sales report, inventory reports, transaction history, documentation and report to finance department
  • Tallying: your job is to ensure that sales reports are encoded correctly, therefore you must check transactions for correctness before submission, make sure sales are correct and report any discrepancies
  • Must know how to use Microsoft Excel and familiar with Cashier system

Skills Required:

  • Good in computing numbers, checking for mistakes and tallying reports
  • Must be very organized and can multi-task
  • Must be detail-oriented not to make mistakes in computing and reporting
  • Must be able to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Must have good and clear penmanship

Preferred Educational Background:

  • YES, preferred graduate of: accounting / book-keeping, finance, education
  • OK, if undergrad of: accounting / book-keeping, finance / math, engineering
  • This is NOT a position for: IT/ comp sci/ communication/ marketing/ business admin/ hospitality

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Retail cashier / Accounting clerk / Finance department associate / Collection department

Job Posting

  • Type: full time, Monday-Saturday 9am-5:30pm

  • Salary: starting at daily minimum wage during training period with opportunity for increase and promotion based on performance and quality of work
