The Treasury Staff is responsible for the take-out, collection, validation for genuineness, documentation and safekeeping of cash and checks. He/she is also responsible in ensuring that released cash payroll/commission is accurate.

Job Description:

Collections:

  • Conducts cash take-out at the store area
  • Validates cash and checks received during take-out
  • Keeps a complete file of take-out documents
  • Verifies accuracy of total cash take-out
  • Properly documents all collection transactions
  • Keeps a complete file of collection documents
  • Properly distributes foreign exchange rates to store personnel
  • Properly documents all deposits for pick-up

Disbursements:

  • Assures that cash payroll/commission per employee is equal to the total balance
  • Ensures accuracy of cash payroll/commission released to employees
  • Ensures accuracy of exchanged bills/coins with Cashiers from the working fund.

Administrative Functions:

  • Ensures adequate supply of necessary and accountable forms such as Official Receipts (ORs), Petty Cash Voucher (PCV), bank deposit slips, etc.
  • Performs duties and responsibilities of Treasury Specialist in the latter's absence
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required and necessitated by management.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in any business-related course, preferably Finance
  • At least 0-6 months of related experience in accounting, finance or treasury
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • willing to follow regular store hours
  • willing to be employed as a project-based employee (5 months)

Available positions in Head Office (Makati), Rustan's Makati Store, Rustan's Gateway in Quezon City, and Rustan's Shangri-la in Mandaluyong.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 4 months
