The Customer Care Officer handles inbound member enquiries, provides accurate policy information, supports sales enquiries, and manages retention conversations. This role manages customer interactions through calls and email, ensuring member satisfaction, policy accuracy, and first-contact resolution whenever possible.
This role requires at least 2 years of contact centre experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in a quality-controlled, KPI-driven environment.
Sales Services
• Inbound sales & enquiries regarding cover, premiums, and enrolment.
• Outbound warm leads for quotes and interest / enquiry forms.
• Policy initiation in CRM and coordination for exceptions.
Customer Care Services
• Retention conversations following scripts and discount limits.
• Policy updates and coverage details.
• Portal, claims submission, and payment process guidance.
• Claims FAQ support with scripting.
• Level 1 complaints handling and frontline resolution.
• Failed payment assistance.
• Email triage and response. Hospital Claims Support Breeder enquiries General Responsibilities
• Handle high-volume inbound calls and emails from Trupanion AU members.
• Provide accurate and compliant policy information.
• Maintain quality documentation and CRM accuracy.
• Meet KPIs and QA standards.
• Participate in coaching, calibration, and training.
• Complete tasks and follow-ups within required turnaround times.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Tertiary qualifications in any disciplines. Candidate must be a graduate of Senior High School and/or has completed at least 2nd year in college will be considered.
- Must have at least 2-year experience in Customer Service or equivalent.
- Experience in quality-controlled working environment is desirable
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications
- High Level initiative, accountability and self-motivation
- Team-player
- Strong Customer Service orientation
- Keen to details, accuracy and completeness
- Operational, pragmatic and process drive
- Full-time position available/ Hybrid Work Arrangement I Candidate must be willing to work onsite for the first 3 months of his/her employment
- Can start on February 9, 2026
Preferred
• Insurance, financial services, or membership support background.
• Experience in sales or retention-based roles.
• Familiarity with AU customers or AU insurance services is an advantage.
