Medical Promotion Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles the promotion of medicines to Medical practitioners of a particular specialty.
  • Assigned to conduct some market research in order to get enough information for launching a new product.
  • Visits the customer to search for market and competitor information and strategy and give feedback to immediate superior.
  • Implements and assesses promotional activities in accordance with the strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Conducts product presentations to the doctors and customers in order to enlist the products or expand the existing business.
  • Makes territory sales plan by product and by customer. Reports the results and implements corrective and preventive action on a monthly basis.
  • Makes itineraries and daily activities report of what has been done and how much sales was achieved for the day.
  • Promotes product through good product knowledge and honest and appropriate ways of use of promotional materials i.e. product samples.
  • Prepares monthly reports on product movement and results of promotional activities.
  • Informs superiors of customers' requests or results of those requests or complaints and informs customers of results of the actions taken.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a four(4) or five(5) year Science course
  • Preferably with experience in pharma detailing/marketing
  • Experience in detailing vaccines is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
